With the pandemic, you have had to alter how you live and make several changes in your daily lives and routines. Things have indeed improved, and with that in mind, you may have considered travelling and are planning a winter vacation.

Just like every other aspect of your life, you need to change how you travel, including what you pack and carry during winter vacation. Your good old checklist for travelling now will have a few more items to protect you from the virus.

Here's an updated winter travel checklist for 2021 to help your sort out what to pack:

  1. The Basics

The new essential items in your travel bag must be face masks, hand sanitizers, and disinfectant wipes.

There are various masks to choose from, including lightweight and disposable surgical masks, cloth masks, N95 respirator masks, etc. However, to be super safe, Copper Infused N99 face masks are essential. The filter 99% of fine particulate matter for maximum protection.

Pack effective hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes and use them as often as possible. Make a note that it should contain 60% alcohol. It is highly advisable to wipe a surface of any public place with disinfectant wipes before touching it.

  2. Medical Kit

Flu, cough and body aches are all unwanted guests of this season. They will arrive without any warning. So better be prepared. Some of the tools to fight the common health issues related to winter are:

    • Cough Syrup
    • Fever Medicines
    • Flu Medicines
    • Nasal Decongestants
    • Pain Killers
  3. Winter Accessories - Scarf, Gloves, & Hat

You want to make sure you pack proper winter accessories to keep you warm while keeping you stylish. There are various kinds of gloves available in the market, but Copper winter gloves are your best bet, especially during these times. Copper retains heat and kills germs, viruses and bacteria, providing you with extra, added protection. They are also waterproof making them perfect for the snowy winter.

Also, make sure you pack a few sets to keep you warm and so you can change it up to make those vacation pictures special.

  4. Socks for Happy Feet

During all the sightseeing, winter sports, and adventure tracking, you also go through long lines and carrying heave bag packs. Your feet are your loyal companion to take all that stress. But it leaves them vulnerable with poor blood circulation. So how to make sure your feet remain happy feet throughout your trip?

Socks are your mandatory travel accessory, and your best bet is the Copper compression socks. They are by far the best socks for travellers. The reason being, copper socks can self-sterilize. There won’t be any fungal infection in your feet or foul smell if you remove your shoes. Thus you will need to pack fewer socks.

  5. Insulated Down Jacket

Buy a down jacket; it is worth the cost. You need a strong defence to overcome the dry and chilly winds. Down jackets keep your torso warm as they are insulated. It will be the cherry on the cake if the hoodie of the coat is also protected. Get the one with the detachable hoodie. It will make packing easier.

  6. Skincare Essentials

You must carry your basic face wash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. But during the winter, make sure you carry the lotions, creams, and moisturizers that work best for your skin. Lip balms and chap sticks are also very important for everyone – men, women and children.

Another important item, perhaps the most important for them all, is SPF. SPF is required in all seasons for protection from UV rays, and the winter sun and chill can be even harsher.

  7. Thermals

Thermals are also known as body warmers. They act as an insulating layer so that the chills don’t reach your body as the heat gets trapped in. Always pick full-body thermal sets. Check the fitting before buying as the loose thermals will not be comfortable.

Now, all you need to do is pack all the winter necessities and enjoy the magical winter holidays!
